Not much beyond a little information that's apparently already been blasted to everyone at this point.

Salvaged a little scrap here and there but that's not very exciting.

Yeah, that was a rude awakening to say the least. Sorry you didn't find very much.

Scrap has its uses, though I'm guessing you could've gotten the exact same thing from the junkyard. I'm guessing you already keep a pretty close eye on all that to see if anything good turns up.

Eh, I wasn't really expecting much anyway. It was worth a try, sure, but I never thought there'd be untold riches hiding under a rock or anything.

I have a number of good sources, yes. An occasional change of pace can at least be interesting.

Do you know if there's any sort of mining industry here? You could always try and smelt your own stuff. Just sorta spitballing. I don't have any particular goals or ideas in mind, but ... I've always been pretty fascinated by robotics and engineering. I guess I'm just being a curious pain in the ass.

I'm not that desperate. You can make a machine out of anything if you try hard enough. Getting things where they need to be is a lot more complicated than finding the right mine, especially in a place that's just inherently hostile to progress.

Spend a ton of time designing the right alloy and then you're stuck at the next step anyway.

Jesus, it feels like you make one step forward and then you either wait for months or get knocked four steps back around here. I hope you have something you can punch or destroy on a regular basis. I know I'd need it.

I can always just blow stuff up if I'm feeling particularly antsy.

It doesn't actually get anything done, but every so often a good kaboom in the name of both science and entertainment is just what you need.

You know, I think I'd like to see one of those sometime. It sounds extremely gratifying.

Most of the explosions I've caused have been by design. Destroying evidence, distractions, assassinations, that sort of thing.
