You know how fog is essentially a cloud, right? Clouds are made of water, and there are therefore techniques to harvest the water from fog. If we can do the same for the fog god's fog, we should get some kind of horrifying magical water that just might be able to do the trick.

We'll just need to do it at a small scale so it's not super obvious and won't be sabotaged, so holding the fog in its fog form at first and then processing it later is probably our best bet.

So we're going to need a net.
